When I see this phrase posted on Facebook I had to stop

and read it. I thought about the words and how far back

the memories were. Memories good and bad but how they

impacted my life in some way. 

Never forget where you started at, challenges you have

faced, battles you have fought and won.

Look at where you are now, in this moment

Appreciate the struggles to succeed and never giving up

when the battle was overtaking you

We all have bad days when we feel the world caving in

We have good days as well. Let's build ourselves up on

the good days and remember how from the bad days.

When you look in the mirror, who or what do you see?

Do you find value in yourself and the world?

We live in a world where others have no respect human life.

Negative feelings are everywhere

Turn on the news and hear the bad things others are doing, 

social media is flooding our minds because we stay

connected to them. 

Why? Why can't our cellphones be put away or turned off?

It's hard to see or find value in yourself with the world we live in.

YOU are the only person to find your worth

These are things I am working on to find my worth

It isn't easy and some days I fail at everything

Pick yourself up and keep going. DON'T QUIT

* Self Care - there are days I stay in my pj's all day!!!!

I find no reason to dress. I have no plans made

I still have these days BUT I am working on planning an

activity for the next day with a friend. I have to put clothes on,

apply a little make-up and brush my hair.

I feel good when I get around my friends and make

memories that will last

* Finding MY value is so hard. I worked as an RN for over

25 years and never questioned my value. I worked hospice 12 plus years

and I loved every day spent with patients and family. I was of value

to them at a difficult time in the life. I know the impact I left in

each family member, I don't work anymore due to health issues

so, I struggle finding value. I am spending more time with my

3 grandchildren and I see the value of being a grandparent and

having different relationships with each of them. Our special times

always involves a meaningful talk over lunch. I try to help them

see the value in themselves which reminds me of my value.

* Keep a diary or journal of how days are spent and with who.

How are you feeling? What prompted your activity?

Make the day about yourself, do something you enjoy.

When was the last time you went to a movie theater?

I am making a list of things I would like to do and slowly

I am completing the list. May take me 2 weeks on some things

but I have to keep my eyes on the bigger prize - MYSELF!!!!!!

*Don't allow ANYONE to take your value!!!!! They are not with

you 24/7, they don't live in your home and they don't know issues

you may be going through. You may need to separate from certain friends

if they always bring negative feelings to the group. It is ok for that to

happen. When we are around negative people, we stay negative.

Get out and find your worth

I was going through an older folder I found tucked away

in my PSP files. Folder was named "Vintage Butterflies"

I am posting a view of the kit. I don't know how long this

has been tucked back but when I opened file I had started

a tag. I wish I could tell you template used, mask and extra's.
