Update on MIA

As you all know my family recently lost a special loved one but I didn't go into details.
I wasn't able to go into any details because they pain was really more than I could deal with
I took 6 weeks off work to get myself together, be with my family and get back into therapy
My aunt (my mothers sister) was murdered in a home invasion
She was 72 and legally blind. She lived with her youngest son & family
They had made the carport into a one bed apartment for her to live
Around 2:30 on the morning of Jan 21, 2017 evil broke down her door
She didn't have time to respond or defend herself before he was on her
She was brutually attacked, stabbed in the head, neck and 3 times in the chest.
Her son heard a noise and went to check on her, when he opened the door he faced the killer
They exchanged some words then the killer ran out the door
My aunt lived 30 minutes after the attack and all she said was she couldn't breath.
She fought hard to live but her injuries were too bad and she passed away
She was killed over a set of truck keys. The person that took her life was 20 years old
He was from New York City and came to her town to join a gang. He had been in town 4 days

Please continue to pray for our family as we face some difficult days in the future
We are still trying to make sense of this tragedy but we will never understand
Love your family daily and let them know how much they are loved
We are not promised tomorrow.
