I will be gone until Thursday or FridayMy brother is having oral surgery and I am staying withhim for a few days. He has an aneurysm in his heart and he feels betterwith me being a nurse.I'll have time to think on direction of blogI will be posting some things I just completed.

Haven't been to my blog since the 23rd!!!!!!!!Past week has been all over the placeHad cyst removed yesterday from abdomenChose to do in office vs hospitalMy brother took me and held my hand during procedureWorse was numbing area because it was a big areaDeeper than Dr thought so more lidocaine was neededCouldn't get a biopsy due to sac and tissue just fell apartHad some necrotic areas to underside but he saidhe got all those cut out. 2 layers of stitches inside and6 stitches on outside to be removed next week.I hope I never have anything like that againNext time we will go to OR!!!!!!!

Hello friendsHope everyone is having a great MondayHope your week is productive and goals met
I'm having a pity party today. I didn't invite anyone to join meI can't define my feelings today, or any day to be honestThis morning when I woke up my body was already fightingwith me. I've felt bad since last Thursday but tried to push myselfforward. By Saturday I was in the ER receiving IV fluids and receivingthe same speech from my MD I hear all the time. I understand what isbeing said because I'm a nurse and have given the speech 100 times.Feels different when roles are reversed.
I am fighting so hard not to get in a depressed place.Been there before and climbing out of the hole isn't easy.I have great support from family, friends and church familyThe devil wants to be a part of my journey. He wants to tearme down by getting in my mind and filling it with lies, fear,temptations and despair. I rebuke the devil and the work heis trying to do in my life. HE is working overtime today, he knowsI'm weak BUT my God is stronger than himI don't know what will happen during this "illness" journeyThe unknown is very scary, but I have to keep my eyes lookingupward. God knows my fears and anxiety because he made meI'm only human. Being afraid doesn't mean I don't trust or have faithGod knows where my heart is.
Being able to post these emotions help a lot. I want to be asactive as I can in my life. My grandchildren seem to always knowwhen I need some extra "Annie" love. They don't know I may havecancer, I don't want them to know right now. All they know is Ihave rheumatoid arthritis which gets me down. A lot of my fearis leaving and missing out on important events in their lives. Funny how we don't think about these things until we are facedwith trials in life.
I'm going to stay as active as I can in PSPThat is one thing that takes me awayI'll try to continue doing tutorials and I have other thoughtsrunning through my head.

I've had a pretty good week so far, 2 more days to goMy mind has been clear, and I have been able to do some psp which makes me really happy. My rheumatoid has good and bad days, expectedI've had some issues with my Iron levels being lowI've had 6 Iron infusions in 4 monthsDr's have done a lot of blood work to find a reasonSo far, I don't know anything definitiveHad a blood smear done last week and results cameback with "abnormal cells indicated."We have discussed a hematologist for bone marrow biopsyLeukemia runs in my family, my uncle and my dad had diseaseSo, today has been very mental and emotional for meI'm going to get through this, and I need friends to say a prayerplease, just a 10 second prayer or more if you have the time.I am going to get back to a tag I've been working onTomorrow may be a totally different dayHave a great evening

Bob is doing GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!He was taken off ventilator late Saturday eveningSunday morning, he asked for grits and sausagePT got him up and he was able to walk halfway around hallwayLater that afternoon he was walked ALL the way around!!!!!!!!!!He was moved out of CCU to room on MondayPlans are, if he doesn't experience any setback, 10 more day inhospital then he will move into an apartment within the hospitalfor 6 weeks to continue rehabilitationPraying for this journey. He has come a long way and we thank God
Bob received his new heart this morning!!!!!!!!!!Surgeons are pleased with how everything turned outSaid heart "looked beautiful" beatingNext 48 hours are critical but is expected to make full recoveryTY to everyone who prayed
Update on prayer request a few days agoHEART HAS BEEN FOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bob texted me at 6am with the good newsTransplant was scheduled for this morning but due toseveral organs being harvested, Bob will get his tomorrowWe are so happy as a family. God is so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We know there is a family somewhere grieving a loved oneWe don't want to forget them during this processI hope Bob gets to meet the family one dayI will keep everyone updated

I tried writing tutorials this morning but the rheumatoid arthritisin my hands and fingers just won't allow it.And, it has turned cold in Ga with the temperature 32 degreeswhich does not help at allFor now, I will post tag made and list supplies with links
I was diagnosed in April or May of this year after experiencingsevere pain in my left hand but primarily to left thumbI've never experienced pain like that beforeSteroids would manage the pain but as soon as I finishedthe 15 days the pain would return. I took 2 rounds ofsteroids before receiving the diagnosis.I was started on a chemo drug which helped, and I wasable to maintain a normal routineI didn't know what to expect with the winter seasonapproaching. I was told symptoms are usually worseduring that time. First little cold snap didn't really affectme much, fingers were a little stiff but manageable. After Thanksgiving cold weather hit again dropping intothe 30's. BIG DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!My left foot is affected. I can't hardly bear any weightunless I turn my foot inward. Toes are swollen and verypainful. Hard to put any shoes on so this is going tobe an adventure as I journey through this disease process
I'm not ready to give up PSP yet, so I'll do as much as I canwhen I can and when this disease allows me.TY for your continued support

I hurt my back in June at a water park with the grandkids
I have been having a lot of issues since then.
I have 2 bulging disc's, a herniated disc and a compression fracture to my lower back
I am being seen by a neurologist and right now receiving a series of spinal injections
I am unable to sit at computer for long periods due to pain.
I am still trying to do some tags/tutorials but it takes me a long time
I am taking a break from some of my CT obligations until things get better
I will try to post new tutorials as I get them done
